Happy DIY Wednesday!
We are sorry for missing last week, things got crazy with releasing the Booty-ful Collection (shout out to everyone who got theirs) and wrapping up Q1! But we are back this week and are going to have a different focus this month.
As much as I LOVE my skincare routine and self-care, there is more that goes into making your skin truly healthy and radiant. Can you guess what that is? If you guessed…FOOD, then you got it!
As always, what we put in our bodies is super important! As I mentioned, this month is going to be full of DIY food/drink secrets to enhance your skin’s glow and overall health!
Today I am sharing a yummy Avocado smoothie that will leave your skin and stomach satisfied. The hero ingredient here is, of course, the avocado!
Avocados are one of the best anti-aging foods you can eat, due to their high levels of fatty acids, antioxidant phytonutrients and essential amino acids.
Grapeseed oil is also a key ingredient as it contains potent antioxidants and vitamin E that helps to reduce skin damage from the sun.
Finally, this smoothie will also feature yogurt and pomegranate juice, which are both skin nourishing!
(All of these ingredients can be purchased at your local grocery store - and you'll have plenty of good-for-your-skin ingredients left-over to use in other creative ways.)

PS - Avocados and avocado oil are also fantastic ingredients for the outside of your skin, too. We use a healthy dose of avocado oil in our Coffee Lover's Eye Serum, Pretty in Pink Antioxidant Clay Mask (and the Mini version), and Peppermint Bliss Body Butter (sorry, this one is a limited, seasonal product).
