Coffee Yogurt Probiotic Face Mask

Use this effective recipe no more than 1-2x per week – your skin will thank you! 

You’ll see gradual improvements in your skin’s over-all health and appearance by “feeding” it what it needs – probiotics.

This mask is designed to depuff, exfoliate and soften inflamed winter skin (and to support your skin's barrier function) - all with three simple (but ever-powerful) ingredients:

  • 3 Tbsp plain Greek-style yogurt
  • 2 Tbsp finely ground coffee (the finer, the better for a gentler polish)
  • 1 Tbsp coconut (or olive) oil

In a bowl, combine the yogurt, coffee and coconut oil - mixing together until you have a paste. Apply to clean skin using a gentle circular motion. Let it sit for 20 minutes, then rinse with warm water and a soft washcloth. Pat dry - and you're good to go!

Finish with additional moisturizer, if needed.

The caffeine in coffee grounds helps reduce swelling and puffiness (plus the grounds gently exfoliate). The yogurt, in addition to containing probiotics to support your skin, soothes and softens irritated skin. The coconut oil adds much needed moisture, especially at this time of year!
